Thomas Fabre

Thomas Fabre is a PhD candidate in philosophy at Gustave-Eiffel University, under the supervision of Corine Pelluchon. He holds a master’s degree in philosophy from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a master’s degree in environmental governance from AgroParisTech. Before that, he spent two years working for Nitidae, an NGO that promotes agroecological transition and combats deforestation in sub-Saharan Africa. From a political philosophy perspective, his thesis focuses on the emergence of the rights of nature in Europe, adopting a field-based philosophical approach to the cases of the Mar Menor and the Seine. Thomas is a member of the Seine guardians committee created by Wild Legal, has observed the citizens’ convention for the rights of the Seine, and followed the struggles led by the Soulèvements de la Seine.
